Agrigento & Piazza Armerina Tour from Giardini Naxos

Agrigento & Piazza Armerina Tour is a coach excursion, with escort and a local guide, to two of Sicily's great art cities - both inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage sites since 1997.

The day unfolds in a few distinct moments:

First stop

The Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, one of the largest archaeological sites in the world, with Greek temples built between 510 and 430 BC. You'll see the Temple of the Dioscuri (Castor and Pollux), the Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Jupiter and the Temple of Hercules.

Second stop

A free lunch break, followed by the transfer to Piazza Armerina.

Third stop

The Villa Romana del Casale, a former hunting residence said to hold the world's largest collection of Roman mosaics still in their original setting. The visit takes in the villa's rooms, baths, dining hall and courtyard (entry ticket at your own expense).

The coach then heads back towards Giardini Naxos in the evening.
