Palermo & Cefalu Tour from Giardini Naxos is a full day coach excursion, with a guide, to Sicily's capital and one of its best-loved coastal towns.
The day unfolds in a few distinct moments:
First stop
Palermo's historic centre, with the guide leading you through the Quattro Canti crossroads, the Martorana church, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria and the Cathedral, plus a stop at the Capo market. As an alternative, you can choose to visit Monreale on your own instead, known for its mosaics.
Second stop
After lunch, the coach heads to Cefalu on the north coast: the historic centre and the Norman Cathedral, with its Christ Pantocrator mosaic. There's free time before the drive back towards Giardini Naxos via Messina, along the coast.
