Sailing Boat Tour from Giardini Naxos

Sailing Boat Tour from Giardini Naxos is a half day under sail, from the port of Giardini Naxos along the bay of Taormina, with independent snorkeling and a wine aperitif included.

The trip is arranged in several stages:

First stop

You'll meet the skipper at the pier in Giardini Naxos, climb aboard, and get a quick introduction to the basics of sailing as the boat gets underway.

Second stop

Spisone Bay for the first swim and some independent snorkeling, with masks and fins provided - look out for the rocky islets and the Gaudí-inspired architecture of the Atlantis Bay hotel.

Third stop

Mazzarò Bay, Taormina's best-known inlet, ringed by dense Mediterranean greenery, followed by Isola Bella - the historic "pearl" of Taormina, joined to the mainland by a natural strip of sand - where you can admire the Blue Grotto from the water.

The sail ends with an aperitif in Villagonia bay, looking out over Taormina: a board of cured meats and cheeses, products in oil and seasonal fruit, paired with water and local white wine, plus one last swim before heading back to Giardini Naxos.
