First stop

Second stop

Ortigia, Syracuse's historic island centre, where you'll wander past the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Cathedral built over the Temple of Athena, and the Fountain of Arethusa.

Third stop

In the afternoon, around an hour of free time in Noto, widely considered the capital of Sicilian Baroque. Highlights include the Cathedral of San Nicolò and its sweeping staircase, Palazzo Ducezio and the Bishop's Palace, all facing onto Piazza Municipio.
